Simple SL
My fellow classmate Akshay and I worked to create an app together. Our idea was on the basis of helping a deaf person communicate effectively with others at a low cost easy to operate system. We were instructed to create a PoV statement along with a rough draft empath map and 4 low fidelity wireframes. The wireframes included the landing page and the login screen, as well as the two most important parts to the app; the translation screens. Once we had the idea blueprinted, we worked on creating our final draft. We designed a user persona and empathy map for our target user on Adobe XD. Once the personality was established, we went on to shift our low fidelity wireframes into high fidelity wireframes. Ultimately, these components led us to design our user journey, which showed how one with this problem could find and be satisfied with our app, Simple SL.
PoV statement
Washington Baldric needs a way to communicate with others because he is deaf and has impaired communication skills and needs a way to communicate to his friends efficiently and effectively.
